Cotto should be moving down, not up.

He's a small 154 lber and 147 division is blowing up with potential opponents.

Why the hell is he moving up again?

The title man... He'd be the first PR boxer to win 4 world titles in 4 weight divisions.

He stated that he just can't go down to 147 any more. It would be awesome if he could though.

His short solid frame won't allow it....would be great IMO he beats everyone there not named Mayweather or Pacquiao.....he comes in at 160+ on fight night so I think he would be a Lil drained

                You're wrong.

You're wrong. Last time I checked, moving up doesn't drain a fighter and neither does going after history. This fight is something that Floyd Mayweather doesn't understand. It's risk that makes a fighter larger than life. Cotto's legacy is already set and Martinez is aging. It's the perfect time to try this. Besides, you have to understand the science of boxing. Moving down in weight when you haven't done so in a long time, will drain you. Oscar, Cheeto, Trinidad, Cotto, and Canelo have all found this out the hard way. At the weigh-in, Cotto will probably come in around 156-157lbs. He won't bloat up. He needs as much speed as possible and to be light on his feet. He will still punch hard enough, to hurt Sergio, trust me. It's all about science. Cotto will definitely be the most skilled fighter that Sergio has ever fought.

100% on point. Miguel should not come at 160, he will should come around 156-157lb, where he will be strong yet, agile, quick and balanced.

Serigo will be in for a surprise!

His balls are too heavy to make 147 anymore.

It really is a perfect risk with little downside. Martinez may be far enough gone for Cotto to win, which would be huge for his legacy, and if he loses, so what?
