Should Roy Jones Jr SACK UP and move back up to Heavyweight?

The article about Tyson Fury mentioning Roy Jones got me thinking.

I watched his last fight in Russia on Youtube, and he still has decent speed and a bit of elusiveness left. Wouldn't these qualities be enhanced against much bigger and slower fighters at Heavyweight? Where he can actually throw less punches and still win rounds (providing he doesn't get KO'd).

Yes, the risk of getting KO'd would be great, but it beats toiling around at Cruiserweight. He was 197lb for his last fight.

More like every HW's power would be enhanced against Roy. Very dangerous move for a fighter who's fighting well past his prime.

Roy would die at HW against someone like Wilder or Fury.

Maybe. But he is already facing big guys at Cruiserweight. Might as well go in all the way, and try his luck.

Most of them certainly are less athletic, with less speed and aren't going to break any compubox numbers in throwing punches.

You're a sick mother****er, and jealous that Hopkins was never as good as Roy.

Unless he went through all the millions he has made in the ring and really needs money he should retire. If he is going to continue fighting he should fight at his correct fighting weight of 175. The bigger men he fights the harder they hit and the more brain damage he will receive. Roy Jones is smart enough and famous enough to make a good living without boxing. If he continues to fight he could end up a punch drunk guy like Toney who can just barely talk anymore. He should stick to being a boxing commentator and start a gym where he trains fighters. Even an old fighter as good as Hopkins should retire because the punishment they take now might show up as brain damage years later.

Roy Jones needs to sack up and retire. There's no need for switching weight divisions. He needs to stay out of the ring.

Absolutely not. RJ does not need Fury and he definitely doesn't need to move up in weight. Cruiserweight is where it's at for RJ. In my opinion, he should focus on getting the cruiserweight title then retire. He already spanked Ruiz at Heavy weight there is no need to go back and **** with the young guns at this stage. Diablo or Lebedev should be his targets.
