If he had fought and beaten Cunningham instead of ducking him at Cruiserweight, possibly. His heavyweight run is not worth talking about, and his antics over the past few years are a disgrace.

I'm a Haye fan but no. He had the talent but if he doesn't come back then no. I feel bad for him with the injuries and think he was going to take out Fury but if he's really gone he's not going to the HOF, imo. The legacy just ain't there.

Looks like about 3/4 of the fans here agree that David Haye doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame.

Cons: Weak cruiser competition, no adamek, cunningham, huck, povetkin, fury, arreola, vitali, Horrible performance in his biggest fight,,, Weak title reign at heavy


Lack of big fights hurts him more than others because haye was a legit superstar and a big draw,, he should have more big fights than what he does

Mentioning his name in the same sentence as the hall of fame is the closest he'll get to it. Well, aside from visiting the hall I guess
