Broner was pure shart and the fight wasnt a total blowout, rewatching it, its just whenever Boner landed a punch Maidana landed 2 back. Broner literally cud not move, he was paralyzed like Christoper Reeves. We saw it against Reese and we saw it against Paulie, the chump fights like he is nailed to the floor LMAO

Khan moves, he has a jab, fast hands, decent pop, and Maidana was to gassed in the Khan fight when he finally landed something serious in round 10. He had to wait for Khan to slow down, and lucky for Maidana he never got KO'd by that shot to that body, Maidana body is made of glass like Khans chin.

Broner was to thick and ****** to realize this, and didnt work the body
you are a troll right? that fight was in 2010 look at the way each took, khan went down, maidana went up. so what if broner used to be a light weight? khan almost got KO by diaz in his last fight and diaz was also a light weight, you seriously think he will beat maidana now?

The difference is Diaz moved up a long time ago, Broner wasnt ready for WW, and he damn sure didnt deserve a title shot

Guy was a hype job, a career lightweight and has no business at WW

Diaz would also beat the living daylights out of Broner at WW. Broner has no movement and cant handle pressure. Diaz gave Porter a close fight, heck most believe he won the first fight and Porter is no bum. Porter would also beat the daylights out of Broner.

okay okay...your point is valid. i can see why you think this. you're IMO not all the way wrong.
yes broner did land and hurt Maidana...As did Maidana! Its boxing...you gonna get punched and it will hurt!
As for him being gassed...He was in great shape. You have to look at the amount of punches Maidana was throwing. Holy ***...you gonna get a little tired. Khan has good hand speed. enough to frustrate any fighter. But his spurts will get him killed. Especially when he rest or goes backwards. Maidana wont let up the pressure. He has always been a pressure fighter. Hes just found something that works better now...More Pressure!

Maidana will have a punchers chance against Khan, he will not outbox him, we saw it in the first fight

Khan will know what he is going into this time around. It just depends on if Khan uses his knowledge to his advantage. I dont think Maidana can do anything different, he just can sit and wait for Khan to get brave and slow down and land a big shot., hopefully Khan isnt too thick to fall for this trap.

Khan however can do some new things like hit that body more, he could have worked it way more than he did

i always thought maidana would win a rematch, even before he switched trainers and picked up those wins at welterweight.

Again you make more valid points. Although...you cant go with the first fight. It wont be nothing like that! Things have changed a little. I stress a little. For both fighters!
both have 6 fights since last fight!
Maidan is 4 out of last 4. 3 by Ko and the Broner beat down! (5 and 1 in last 6)

Khan is 2 and 2 in last 4! (with a bad KO as one loss decision the other loss)
(4 and 2 in last 6. Hes had 1 ko and that was w/Zab...BUM Judah.)
also...Khan was floored by Julio Diaz in his last fight...lol. He still a little shook from Garcia. Believe that! If Madiana shakes him like Diaz did...Its GAME OVER.

True, i just personally just think Khan has the advantage of knowing what is coming

I agree Khans last few fights have been very difficult ordeals, although of Khans own making

Khans confidence has taken a huge knock after that Garcia fight, i dont count the Lamont win, that was clearly a robbery

Diaz did floor Khan, but it was nothing to brutal, more so a flash knock down, Diaz knew what to exploit, they went in there and bum rushed Khan, also i dont think Khan really saw Diaz as a threat, he was already looking to the fight ahead. He would never dare do that with Maidana in a rematch, he knows what Chino is capable of.

Khan would be far nmore cagey, lots of holding and running around the ring, jabbing and bodywork.

Maidana wins by KO. Maidana probably would have KOed Khan in the first fight if the ref had not stopped the action to break the fighters when they were not tied up every time Maidana had Khan hurt and was trying to finish him. It looked as if the ref had been told by Golden Boy to protect Khan. Since their first fight Maidana has improved and Khan has gone way down hill.

Well we can hopefully agree that a 2nd fight would be more interesting than the the 1st. I take nothing from Khan. Im not a Khan hater just because he may be fighting Floyd. Im not bashing him for fighting Floyd although i think its not the fight in the fans wanna see. Nor do i think it will be be a great fight. I have always said Khan could give Floyd trouble. If he uses hand speed and foot work...in & out (punching on the way out) He could give anyone problems. If he stands there to get hit or pulls back without punching...hes gonna get caught.
As for Maidana/Khan...i think it will be a good fight. Im edging out Maidana though. I think Khan makes a mistake and gets caught. Khan would have to do just what you said...Be cagey tie up and use his feet. just do it smart. Maidana is brutal with the wide hooks.

Khan is a good boxer adn he sure has a chance, but I'd go with Maidana by KO. He didnt do that bad when he lost, and now with better training and a smarter corner he's doign very well.
