Comments Thread For: Klitschko Coach Sees Jennings-Szpilka as 50-50 Bout

On January 25th at New York's Madison Square Garden, Artur Szpilka (16-0, 12 KOs) will battle Bryant Jennings (17-0, 9 KOs) in an HBO televised heavyweight battle of undefeateds. A lot of experts have already tabbed Jennings as the favorite to win - but trainer James Ali Bashir, who works with WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko, views the upcoming fight as a very close battle.

I don't think either is very good. I thought Spizka was going to be something, but he has literally not improved at all.

Spitzilla has more power but a weak chin. Tough pick but Jennings is way more talented than the club fighter Spitzilla went life and death with.

I like both,I genuinely can't pick one though.both have attributes the other doesn't.Jennings is more of a natural athlete,Szpilka is as tough as they come IMO,has slick offence but questionable defence.again Jennings like Szpilka has been hurt In fights but found a way to win.

Both can only improve more, both have impressive knock out perecentages.i doubt either will be champions but both will likely challenge for titles.

Neither is experienced, but both are talented and improving young heavyweights.

Too bad one has to lose, both have excellent potential. I hope whoever loses will continue to fight on.
