    cotto is already a lock for the hall of fame. it's not that hard to get into the hall of fame any longer. the boxers against whom you compete for spots aren't that good.

              Cotto is a lock for the HOF already, no way in hell he doesn't get in. Now, regarding him beating Martinez....he tries that pressure stuff like Martinez is Rodriguez or something, he is going to eat Sergio's left uppercut like candy and he is going to have a serious problem with Sergio's jab trying to get on the inside to begin with.

                Martinez is the one who needs to worry about getting hit by jab not cotto.

                    Dude, I am a big Cotto fan and not much a fan of Martinez anymore. But Martinez is going to destroy Miguel. Just because Martinez has been struggling with bigger fighters, does not mean he's going to struggle with a smaller guy.

                      I think Cotto has a decent chance against Sergio. Depends on what shape Sergio will be in, no one really knows.

                      No matter the outcome I think he deserves to get in.
