How many great fights at 140/147lb has the so called 'Cold War' cost us?

Is there any more exciting division(s) in boxing today?

With GB: Garcia, Matthysse, Broner, Maidana, Thurman, Soto Karass, Berto, Malignaggi

Top Rank: Pacquaio, Rios, Alvarado, Provodnikov, JMM (maybe), Bradley

all of these guys give and take punches, and are in great entertaining scraps. Throw in guys like Shawn Porter, Brook etc who are pretty entertaining too, and the P4P no.1 Mayweather these weightclasses should be cracking even more than they are now.

What's your favourite fight(s) that arent being/ havent been made because of this crappy promotional stand off??

(please keep promoter fanboyism out of this thread, idc who started the problems...someone needs to end it)

I would like to see Garcia-Bradley, that would be a top match-up of second tier guys and make the winner a very clear cut next best guy out there.

Guerrero-Bradley wouldn't be bad either, but Garcia at the moment is the one on the run so I prefer that more.

Thurman-Provodnikov would be pretty good, but Provodnikov against most anyone would be pretty good, but this one in particular because both guys are at a similar level the winner would be onto much bigger things. Matthysse-Provodnikov would also be action packed.

140 - 147 is a smoking hot division with big name fights just waiting to happen, it's quite a shame really.

Fans are reaping Floyd's mess. He should have stayed retired.
TR vs GBP, HBO vs SHO, all because of the great vacationer.

Mayeather vs. Pacquiao is obviously the biggest fight not to happen to date

                Donaire and Abner Mares.

Can Tim Bradley solve the riddle of Floyd Mayweather?

Brandon Rios and Lucas Matthysse would be an absolute war.

How a Danny Garcia or Adrien Broner would fare against Pacquiao?

Canelo Alvarez vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr may never go down.

                  Is that a serious question?

I don't like this thread. Why? Because if we really break down all the quality fights we have missed out on it will make us all sad, angry and disappointed.
