That is too much pressure for a young fighter, he needs to be brought up at the right pace, forcing a belt on him and than attempting to make a Rigo match might ruin this kid's possibly very bright future.
Well, a lot of people felt Donito would be too much too soon for Rigo, and he doesn't seem to have the slightest problem defending his belt.
Remember that Vasyl has more fighting experience than most of the guys that already beat Orlando.
However, Salido carries his power well into the late rounds, which is unknown territory for Lomachenko, could get interesting after the 8-9th.
Almost impossible to pick this one, but Im gonna go with Lomachenko, too quick and talented in the end.

      You read my mind.

Salido is way too tough for a second fight. If Vasyl pulls this out, it'll be a big deal. Even if Lomo wins, his handlers are crazy for pitting their young fighter against this hard veteran. This could turn out to be a very bad mistake for Team Lomachenko, even if their boy comes out on top.

Absolutely, it's risky as ****. But again, if he beats Salido impressively, I would favor him against Gradovich, Vetyeka, and even Jhonny. I am not getting ahead of myself though. Let's see if he can win that title!

This is not his second fight, it is his 7th. If he wins the title he shouldn't be recognized for that b/c he fought in the wsb with 8oz gloves. we'll see how well he takes punishment.

This is a good point and I always say the same thing in regards to it. Why didn't Lomachenko's WSB bouts count towards his record but they did for the American Olympians that fought there? Some of them were even awarded losses.

Can't wait for this fight. I think this is a toss up 50/50 fight.
