The MMA is where boxers who once had amazing and lucrative careers go to be put on display in a final round of humiliation. The point of all this? I think White is trying to convince the MMA audience that Silva would stand any sort of a chance against a prime Roy Jones, which he wouldn't, and that somehow Boxing and the MMA are equivalent, they aren't. (The MMA is filled with wannabe tough guys with poor conditioning a few years in the sport.)
There'd be no way Jones would consider doing a stunt like this unless he's broke and looking for money, remember the Toney embarrassment? This is a joke match, Jones would be better off walking into his local welfare office and checking into potential benefits than a circus act like this.
