But but but, at the end of the day, Ward would "unify" everything against sad Chad -- epic fight in Oakland in front of some 5,000 "audience", and "for the right money", HBO broadcast, P4P #1 forever... a.s.o.

There won't be an undisputed champ anytime soon
I'm curious, I can't even remember the last undisputed light heavy champ, when was it?

Plus Shumenov isn't stepping in the ring with anyone. There was a time when I liked him but he has spent too long fighting no bodies.

I think you're jesting!... But I will remind this to you:

June 5, 1999 --September 7, 2002: Roy Jones Jr. (WBA, WBC & IBF)

Now that Shumenov is with Golden Boy and Showtime, the fight with Bhop is all but done. Shumenov's biggest hurdle was trying to self promote. He couldn't get any quality fights. I think this could be the start for him. Just wish there was a solution to the Showtime/HBO issue.

You have to go all the way back to 6th June 1985 to see the last undisputed champion with the lineal title (i.e truly undisputed) fight, in Michael Spinks

Yea that's great that Shumenov want's the Kovalev vs Stevenson winner but who knows if Stevenson will even decide not to duck Kovalev and actually get in the ring with him anytime soon.
