Rigo would be okay matched with the right opponents, guys who will bring the fight to him. I think most of us would like to see Martinez v Rigondeaux.

Lampley Keeps Telling His Audience We Mock Rigo And Don't Want To See Him

Originally posted by A-Wolf View PostHBO has been waging a propaganda war against Rigo and it predates his most recent ratings failure. Within minutes of his destruction of Donaire they were already on him. Instantly. You fail to understand the basic meaning behind this thread. Jim Lampley is misconstruing reality by telling his audience we **** on Rigo - even we, the hardcore fans don't like him, ect. OBVIOUSLY they don't want him on for business reasons. Why explain the obvious? To be pointless? What we don't appreciate is hearing bull**** that that didn't happen. The majority of hardcore fans appreciate Rigo and enjoy watching him. Exactly the opposite of what Lampley has been repeatedly claiming, buddy.

The only people who don't like Rigo are:
- UFC Fans
- Casual Fans
- Fans of a boxer he beat very easy and humiliating.
- HBO admins does not like Rigo style for not attracting casual fans (majority)
Myself I love watching this guy fight. Remember Iron Boy Calderon in his prime?
IT is a feast of technical superiority.Last edited by Puya; 12-29-2013, 11:13 AM.

the fight game sucks balls. the funny thing is jim lampley's targeted audience, the dumb casual fans, probably don't stick around to watch his show because they're ****ing casual fans. i'll watch any boxing related media so i tune in to have a laugh. i suspect many of his viewers do the same.

So far 71.15% of voters in the poll want to keep seeing Rigo. And only 28.85% don't.
Lampley is obviously wrong.
But I'm no longer surprised whenever he says ridiculous things to tow the company line. In the same show he has GGG ranked in the top 5 p4p ahead of guys like JMM...so it's obvious that he is trying hard to be a shill and promote HBO's perceived superstar fighters.
It's as biased and transparent as when Ring Magazine had Broner in the top 10 p4p.
