Exactly how I see it...Cotto has heart but this fight could be bad news for him, Canelo then Martinez would have been better for Cotto.

Cotto could win but if he loses I feel he will be beaten like a rented mule and perhaps won't be able to cash in on Canelo who I think he could beat...Martinez coming off a lay-off with an injury and a bad fight, maybe Cotto has more of a chance than I think...but if Martinez lands Williams and Pavlik level punches on Cotto, it's all bad for Cotto.

When Cotto fought Trout, it was Trout's straight to the body that slowed Cotto down and his movement that prevented Cotto from being able to land much. Martinez is superior in both aspects to Trout, who actually doesn't use a huge amount of movement. The punch that has given Martinez the most trouble his past few fights is the right hand, but Cotto's major weapon is the left hook. I haven't seen that punch land on Martinez anywhere near as much as the right hand. I don't see how Cotto has the tools to trouble Martinez.
