    (ENGLISH)

The WBC middleweight Champ has chosen the puertorican as his next rival. The fight would take place in June 2014 in New York

"I got Cotto choked . I would like to fight him ," said the Buenos Aires boxer, 38, after concluding a clinic in a gym owned by his brother Sebastian , in the heart of Quilmes. " I would like to fight him . I don't like him and I think it can be a nice fight," Maravilla said.

In principle , as noted by sources that handle both boxers , the stellar showdown between the two Latin American would occur in New York on Saturday, June 7 , reports news agency Telam .

" Of course I would like it to be in New York and if it's at Madison ( Square Garden) then much better. It must be a nice feeling to win there," said Martinez, who has not fought since last April, when at the Velez Sarsfield field , won by points to Britain's Martin Murray.

The Quilmes star is still seeking to recover from a sore right knee , which underwent surgery after the fight with Murray. " Little by little I 'm recovering from the knee. I'm doing aerobic work and pool exercises ," he said
Wow, the comments section in that article is nothing but argentinians talking crap about Martinez. This seems to be a trend, couple of weeks back someone posted a link to a mexican website and the comments were all people rooting for Cotto to beat Canelo.

I can't wait for Martinez to hunt Golovkin down after he levels Cotto in June. Golovkin better take his beating and learn his lesson like a nice student.

I don't make Martinez to be what many of you do.

I'll take Cotto if this fight happens. & I don't even care much for Cotto either.

A lot of people in Argentina find him to be a bit arrogant...
Another thing is that Cotto is very liked amongst "los borrachos del Tablon",
a group of followers for futbol club River Plate to which Cotto has shown allegiance in the past.
