Maidana is at least coming off three decent wins at 147, where as Khan is coming off getting stopped by Garcia, beating a nobody in Molina, and struggling with a way past prime Julio Diaz.

It's an obvious choice on what's the more legit fight. You know Maidana will at least come forward and make Floyd work 100% every second of every round, and won't pull an Ortiz and mentally quit.

    I love how 2013 was a crappy year for Floyd supposedly.....lol c'mon

Any other guy in the sport fights Guerrero, a Top 5 WW at the time, and then Canelo to win the RING title at JMW, and loses only 2-3 rounds, and it's considered a great year.

If any other fighter in the world fought those fights, they're considered either solid/legit or good wins.
Ye, lets not talk bout Bradley and especially Pac, those fights aint happening for a long time.

You think Maidana's style would be more difficult for Floyd? He's smaller than both Canelo and Guerrero, what's he gon do that they couldn't??

Yes, Maidana deserves the fight more but styles make fights and if Khan fights as aggressive as he did with Roach, then he gives Floyd his toughest fight in a while. That's a plain fact.

And if you think Guerrero and Canelo were great opponents for Floyd then u gota be ******ed.

Yes styles makes fights, but in the case of Floyd vs Khan there is a huge discrepancy in the levels that they are at, at this moment. So the whole "styles makes fights" does not matter when the style is being controlled by B-, C level Khan. Now if Khan was actually looking like a great fighter than sure "styles makes fights", thats just not the case with how Khan has looked his last 4 fights.

So that leaves me with rather seeing Maidana, who like that poster said has a nice run of decent wins, at 147. Has a belt. Also his name is buzzing way more than Khan, and the fight would have a story line coming off the Broner win. With Broner being Floyd "Little Bro"

People voting for biscuit chin are delusional. Floyd lands on both fighters.. the difference is one will keep coming forward and the other will get on his bike and get gunshy. Maidana is unique because he has the mentality power and awkwardness, as well as a chin. Maidana May is my dream fight at this point. Not the Maidana that laid in over 100 clinches against Devon, but the wild bull that gave no quarter against Broner. May wont knock him out I know that, and Chino will land if may decides to get cute and stand in the pocket. His angles are a problem for the shoulder roll and he has surprising range with his punches. Khan is linear 1-2 type and though he has speed, he is easier to time than Maidana. Ask Garcia about how hard it is to time Khan once he starts his fast flurries.

You know that the boxing community goes on all these sites and reads fans comments. We're the ones that buy the fights and hype them to our friends. All my buddies come to me when a PPV fight comes up, when Pacman came up, people asked all kinds of questions about Rios but my buddy and I told them, he's gonna get massacred.

Khan, for the simple reason that Khan is more likely to lose again if he waits to fight him.

Its an easy win, can be sold, and has already been built up to some degree in the media with stunts such has having Khan guest comment on fights.

I wouldn't say Chino has figured the shoulder roll out because of the Broner fight. That's almost like people who thought Guerrero had it figured out vs Berto it's a different league. But like you I would rather see Floyd fight Maidana.

The sad fact is that what you said is what Pac would have to do just in order to get Floyd in the ring. How pathetic is that!?

You think Maidana is better than Khan? Maidana typifies the c/b level slugger.

Khan is just a rung below being elite, wins over Judah, Maidana, Malignaggi, Kotelnik and Barrera prove that, although Barrera was well past his best. Heck in many eyes he even beat Peterson, so his only legit loss since Prescott was Garcia who has since gone on to beat supposedly the most feared guy in the division.

So you are severely underrating Khan, especially if you believe Maidana makes for a better Floyd opponent, considering he is a worse slugger than Canelo and Guerrero.
