An inactive, smaller champion he already beat. Why not go after Brewster? He is the champion?

He has unfinished business with Brewster. Remember him? Wlad doesn't. Wlad forgot about him, Sanders and TOS.

"In Klitschko's last fight, he cemented his place among the top heavyweights and put himself in position for a title shot with a unanimous decision victory over previously unbeaten Samuel Peter in Atlantic City on September 24th."

        WTF?

          TOS? he already beat him.

Sanders? pretty hard to get a rematch when Wlad is not allowed on a private golf course to get a hold of the retired fruit.

So you don't think Sanders would give Wlad a rematch?

I agree, I'd like to see him fight Brewster as well, but, Byrd's a champion, so he's challenging a champion. TOS=not even in the picture, not worth fighting again, maybe if he was a contender. Sanders=retired, so the way I see it, Wlad had 2 options, Byrd or Brewster, he clearly took the easiest of the 2, but he's challenging a champion nonetheless.

I really don't think that would be in his best interests.

he realizes it was a while back he landed a lucky punch....and will get knocked out. Might as well stay on top being able to say he beat Wlad...because it won't happen again.

and dude, he's not going to look like he did against Peter LOL. He was trying to survive against the WRONG opponent for him.

Match him up with these other guys, and you'll see knockouts.

Dude he will so ****ing make Rahman or Toney pay with the jab and right hand. They wont make it past 5.

yea right.......Toney makes Wlad look like a nerd lost in a boxing forum.

That name "champion" is so over-rated. Byrd's a champion. So what. He hasn't be active in who knows how long nor do people consider him one of the best in the division.

***** ass Wlad saw the easy way and he took it. He's a straight up ***** without a back bone. Make the fight with Brewster. Make the fight with Sanders. Make the fight with Rahman. No, he wants Byrd and IN Germany.

You don't see anything wrong with how Wlad conducts himself as a boxer and who he is willing to fight?
