the above could be read as measure of how much pbf's camp fear pac, rightly or wrong as they may be.....

don't think they will shun millions of green bucks if they do not see something "problematic" with a pac fight.....they have all been long in this business....

anyway, merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all "experts" in here...

been a good year in this forum

No way Floyd beats Pac like JMM did by KO, probably wide UD but not KO like that. I didn't see that win get Marquez that much recognition as an ATG. I see him being considered top 100 ATG. Why would a win over Pacquiao enhance Floyd's career so much more than it did Marquez's?
well, first, being one of the greats is subjective....

even now, jmm, erik and marco are considered among the greats...

no one can dispute jmm reached a new high when he put pac to sleep...

he was on top of the world and this win will be long remembered than any of floyd's win...

jmm put pac to vacation for almost a year....floyd puts himself to vacation for 2 years...

and how would you so much elevate floyd for eluding to fight the ones people want him to fight? hmmmmm

Floyd has never fought a Top Rank fighter of any caliber while being gone from TR. Pacquiao is no exception for Floyd to finally do business with Arum.

If Floyd was as opportunistic as his critics feel he is. If he really does want the easy pay days and is just avoiding the best TR has to offer, but would "cherrypick" one who he sees flaws in, he'd have cherrypicked the hell out of Bradley after the Marquez fight, where Bradley had looked mediocre 3 fights in a row at the time. Or he would have done business with Bob to fight Alvarado after he beat Rios, and Pac/Arum left him hanging despite him wining. Two pretty easy, and highly acceptable fights for Floyd. He did not fight them.

Floyd really wants nothing to do with Bob Arum and we would see Mayweather vs Pacquiao, Bradley as soon as they leave TR, just like we saw Mayweather vs Cotto.

Your question is wrong. With all that you stated, the better question is would Bob Arum put his cash cow in the ring with Floyd Mayweather? FMJ's boxing attributes are clearly superior to Manny's. And I think everyone would agree with FMJ being favored if they ever fought. So, who would be actually taking the bigger risk? FMJ or Bob Arum.

Lol it would not be Floyd's biggest pay day, unless he takes 70-30 or 80-20. At 60-40 or anything less, it would just match his current biggest pay days.

It would certainly be Pacquiao and Arum's biggest pay day. Floyd would definitely be helping out Pacquiao, that's for sure. As far as Floyd's check goes, it won't be anything far from what he's already seen by taking 80-20 from an Ortiz, Guerrero, Mosley, Marquez PPV. And it would more or less match his pay check from the Canelo fight. The split is the key, if Pac wants 60-40 or better, Floyd takes just about what he's used to taking.
