Ok not the overhand right hook with a slip. That is one of the most powerful punches. MMA guys seem to love it.

No im talking about the overhand that comes from 12 oclock to 6 oclock. Comes down onto the nose or collar bone from above. This is a true overhand, and its not used hardly ever anymore because its utter crap. In-fact you've probably never seen it before its used so little.

Is it the second weakest punch after the jab? (unless theres a left hand version of the same punch?)

It feels like its all speed and snap and you dont get the same body-weight behind it like with the hook or cross.

Hmm.. you got a gif or something? I'm not entirely clear what you mean. The OHR is a signature KO punch for many fighters - it sounds like you mean something slightly different, but I'm not quite sure what.

If you can't do gifs maybe a 'tube clip and time?

No point because if you dont even know what the punch is then you dont know the answer to my question.

Like I said the overhand you are familiar is popular and common because its devastating, this version of it you havnt seen because its not that useful and rarely used anymore.

Only if Pualie throws it. I'm sure if GGG hit you with that punch you'd feel it pretty good. Or maybe too asleep to even know it landed.

Ok I think I know what you are talking about, is this it?

Seems pretty powerful to me. Homer was obviously limited but he had never been hurt in any previous fight, this punch left him out on his feet.

So you're talking about a punch from a 90degree angle?
Straight on from the opponent to the side of you?

I don't think you've quite got the grasp of what an overhand punch is...
Anyone putting that much force into a punch it you will feel it regardless.
