      How was that Ether?

What the hell is a win over Pacquiao? Where did it get Marquez? Is Marquez now the GOAT? Is JMM even considered top 20 ATG? Where did a win over Pacquiao get Marquez who was underdog to lose? Why would a guy who would be favored to win, get more praise than an underdog like Marquez got? Who got very little praise as far as his place in history.

He didn't beat a "prime" Pacquiao? Jesus Christ.

Booo, it's only "ETHER" because it was directed towards Floyd. Last time I checked Mayweather wasn't in his prime either. *smh*

Apparently Floyd is still in his prime.

But, isn't Floyd past his prime too? If beating Manny now won't add anything to his legacy, then why should he take the fight? Yeah, i already know you're going to say, he'd make his biggest payday fighting Manny(vice versa), but he's in a position where he has the option to make big paydays with or without Manny.

It depends on how Martinez will look against Cotto or if he'll be able to pull off a win, but a fight with Martinez for the WBC's 160lbs belt is far more appealing for Floyd's legacy at this point than a Manny fight.

I love how the media keeps shoving the truth in his face. Fact is, Mayweather will always be remembered for ducking more than the 0 he has on his record. The truth will always stain his record, and that is that Floyd Mayweather was a good fighter but never proved his skills against the top fighters during their prime.
