Comments Thread For: Klitschko: Tyson Fury Fight Will Eventually Happen

WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (61-3, 51KOs) has brushed off the trash talk from undefeated contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15KOs). Fury recently lashed out at Klitschko, claiming the unified champ was ducking him and taking on poor opposition. Klitschko says his management have tried to secure Fury for several dates, but Fury's team says the boxer is not ready for such a task.

Any heavyweight fight that doesnt involve David Haye is nothing but a meaningless Turd Joust.

obviously wlad didn't offer him more money then the haye fight or they would have signed. now fury would be interested but wlad could be tied up with leapai, pulev & the WBC champion... wlad may have to pay serious step aside money to keep all his belts before unification...

Tyson is trying to get his popularity up to the max first to try to get a better cut. He's not ****** , he knows he dosent have a realistic chance against Wlad . Problem is if he gets his a$$ handed to him in the meantime .

Are you even aware that Wladimir is ~7 years away from being 45? :/

Klitschko continues with the misinformation. He doesn't want to fight Fury, he wants to fight the Leapais, Mormecks, Wachs and Pianetas of the world. Low-risk, high reward.

Fury and his team have responded to these claims numerous times, the latest just yesterday, it's Wlad saying Fury's not ready, not the Fury camp.

                Fury:

Well, I can put my life on it and everyone else's life on it, and one hundred percent of that is bull**** because if Wladimir Klitschko offered me a fight I'd go there and I'd smash his jaw all over the ring for him and he knows that. Emanuel Steward told him that he would get knocked out by me. He knows he's gonna get knocked out by me, his brothers retired because he didn't want to fight me and now he's trying to avoid me this Wladimir, who they say is this great champion but wont fight anybody his own size who's any good. Now, I'm sending a challenge to Wladimir Klitschko, I'll fight Wladimir any time any place anywhere, just give me a date and I'll be there, I don't care if its on one days notice. There is definately no way I'd avoid Wladimir, he'd be the last person on earth that I'd try to avoid. I've been chasing him for two years and he wont fight me, so if he offered me a fight, I'd take it, I wouldn't say the money wasn't right, I'd fight him for free, so if he's saying I'm scared of him or not ready for him then I'd like to know who he spoke to? Mick Hennessey wouldn't dare say anything like that, Peter Fury wouldn't dare say anything like that and I would definitely not refuse the challenge. If Wladimir wants it, he can have it and I'll definitely relieve him of all his belts. The last big person he fought was Mariusz Wach, he got wobbled and Mariusz Wach's useless. Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight in the world, never mind a top contender, I am the man, I am the man without the titles and he wont fight me, I'm the most avoided fighter out there, the only ones that do wanna fight me are the ones that nobody else wants and I fight them and I knock them out, so there you have it.

I'm still gutted Fury-Haye is blown.

I'd definitely be interested in seeing Fury-Klitschko though.

Or Fury wins the WBC and he fights Fury to unify the titles.
