    Abner Mares wants to reclaim his WBC featherweight crown, and gets that opportunity on February 15th when he steps back in the ring with Jhonny Gonzalez at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Rather than train at home, Mares has opted to establish his training headquarters in Mexico City, specifically at the gym owned by World Boxing Council (WBC) Emeritus champion Ana Maria "Guerrera" Torres.

    cant wait til the rematch. im a fan of both, fight didnt last long. hopefully mares doesn't get caught cold like in the first fight. i see this fight being stopped by the ref.

      cant wait to see if mares can handle gonzalez power and start to bully him later on. we all know gonzalez will be extremely dangerous early. like both guys

        Like the first fight? I doubt it, Mares ain't gonna come in reckless this time around. Can't wait!!

            Great news, this means that Mares is taking the fight very seriously and hopefully he comes better prepared then ever. Can't wait for this fight, it's going to be a great one!
