Originally posted by raesaadI agree with all the things you said except that I believe the Tyson who was a beast was not the real Tyson........He always looked as though as soon as a fighter with great skill and who was not afraid of him would beat him and thats what started happening......Just like alot of people say about Lacy but I think Lacy has more heart than Tyson and will show he is here to stay but who knows time will tell....time has already told on Tyson.Last edited by ChrististheAnswer2; 02-06-2006, 06:00 PM.

Originally posted by ChrististheAnswer2Heres the thing, there is this great myth that whenever Tyson got stood up to, he lost. After reviewing his career I find this to be completely untrue, when he was young, guys fought him back, but back then the man was a technical fighter, not a headhunter like he became after the Spinks fight, so he was able to beat them with relative ease. Cus designed Tyson to do one thing and thats become the youngest HW champ ever, so in addition to him getting away from the style and form that brought him to the championship, he lost interest in the sport, espcially with being surronded by snakes and chicken-hawks.

Originally posted by ChrististheAnswer2No doubt about it, it was his choice to be uncommtited and get away from his style that made him a killing machine, but its hard to make good decisions when there are a slew of people around you telling you to do the wrong things. This is true for anybody, not just Tyson.
