Manny was beating dudes who were big and fast punchers since 2000. Floyd balked. End of story. How many guys does Manny have to beat to finally "deserve a shot" at Floyd?

Since 2006, Floyd has fought 7 times, Manny 17. Think about that.

This year floyd fought twice manny once what does that mean?

The problem is that Manny thinks he is as big as Floyd # wise but he is not. Each time he felt like he was too big to accept or negotiate Mayweather's terms. Why should I believe Manny wants to fight when he won't compromise to make the fight? He is simply not pulling the #'s or making the money Mayweather is. 50/50 is not an option for Manny at this point.

This sounds plausible but I don't think so. Manny isn't and hasn't ever been in a position to say who he wants to fight. Ever notice how docile he appears, almost lacking a will or personality enough to form his own thoughts? Whenever I think about the negotiators for a fight like that Manny wouldn't be in on that, his boss Bob Arum would. Arum would try to get 50/50 even though he knows Pacquiao's numbers don't warrant a split like this, which is why he'd ask. He's knows it'll never happen in this world, which is exactly what he wants.

In order for this fight to happen you need two parties negotiating in good faith, that's not what Arum's been doing. He's been piggybacking off of Floyd's popularity for years by slyly lying to Pacquiao's faithful about a magical fight with their "uppity" tormentor Floyd Mayweather.

Since many of their arguments are demonstrably false I can only conclude their shifting criticisms of Mayweather are a shabby fig leaf that hide resentments based on something a lot more shallow than whether a fight with Pacquiao is going to happen.

lol, you act like Manny is just some run of the mill fighter from BFE with no legacy, no fans, and isn't a draw himself. You're putting him on the level of Omar Figueroa saying he should accept a flat fee. You say Manny has never made 40 million. Last I checked, no fight is going to guarantee Floyd the money he can make with Manny, easy money at that. All this crap about Floyd being the A side is just that, crap. These are the two biggest names in boxing. Not just one big name and one guy who nobody knows. I could understand the crappy point you're trying to make, but Manny Pacquiao is revered world wide and isn't just some run of the mill johnny come lately to the sport.

Jr called Pac he didn't set up an appointment or make any move to meet and negotiate, he just called and off the cuff offered the 40 mill but of course he wanted the ppv money that would top out at over 160 mil, but, I understand if you, Dunn, Imdazed, *****king and others can't get it. He called Manny up on his personal line and made an offer to fight AND Manny did not negotiate it but instead opted for 50/50 or no deal. Mayweather is the A side and Manny is the B side no matter how you want to slice it. Mayweather still gets the bigger piece. Manny ain't even making 40Mil on his own while Floyd does and has. I would not give Manny 50/50 either if the #'s don't add up. I have been on Boxingscene since 2008 and all Pacquiao fans do is make excuses for Manny not to fight Floyd....

1. Manny doesn't have to do what Floyd says.

2. Mayweather is not the commission

3. Mayweather is asking for a drug test to duck the fight

Manny has since done random testing with Rios. In actuality Manny ducked the fight hard in 09 and rejected 40 MILLION, which would have been his biggest pay check to date. Maybe he did deserve PPV money but dude didn't even negotiate it with Floyd but wanted 50/50 down the line and clearly Manny was and is not in the position now to ask for that AND when he did get 50/50. What did he do? He walked because of blood testing to close to the fight. This is the guy who Pacquiao fans defend?

Point is.... Floyd is the bigger name and makes the most bucks no matter how he does it. When Manny negotiated with Cotto and Hatton, what did he do? Throw his weight around because he was the bigger draw. No matter how liked and lovable Manny is. Dude is just not the top guy in the sport and this is the truth. If I'm the top guy in the sport of boxing. Why should or would I give my opponent the same amount of cash to fight me when I'm making the most money? Manny had a chance to have the fight 50/50 but he opted to duck a random blood test to close to the fight to only years later accept it against a guy he didn't make next to the money he would have with Floyd. Chalk it up for what it is. A bad business decision. And from how it looks for Pacquiao now. He sure does make a lot of them.
