I really don't see the point of doing something like this, and when the idea of fighting him actually comes up, all he has to say is, "Uhherrrm, my team is all about smart picking, not about tough fights, smart fights."

Maybe unfair, but you would think in a negotiation Pacquiao would counter the offer with something, but he didn't. Instead he went on to fight Bradley, then Marquez, and we saw how that turned out. Now there's tax problems and somewhat disappointing PPV numbers with Rios. Maybe his decision to turn the offer down wasn't that wise.

On this we agree. The fight should happen. Unfortunately, the biggest obstacle to the fight are these personalities and the promoters.

Both sides should be held accountable for the fight not happening. Not just one.

Really? The man has never been part of a ppv that sold more than 1.5 mil. His last 3 ppvs have sold less than floyd did with canelo. Manny does bring a lot to the table but that doesn't mean he gets huge money since he turned down 50/50 and then 40 mil.
