We could be sitting the same room and I could be looking you in the eyes explaining this very slowly and it would still elude your comprehension. Manny Pacquiao has a boss, he can't just say who he wants to fight, he may want to fight Floyd now because of his money issues but he can't. What does Manny say at the end of every fight when he's asked who he wants to fight next, he always defers to Bob Arum and no one else.

Announcer: Who do want to fight next Manny?

(A dull witted and un-inquisitive look flashes in Pacquiao's eyes as the voice of his lord and savior Bob Arum starts talking in his battered head.)

Arum's Voice: Now Manny, remember we talked about this you have to pay me back for the many advances I let you have kid, remember that? I was like a father to you, remember? Now STFU and go to your dressing room!

Manny: It depends on my promoter.

To make a long and repetitive story short, Manny has a very smart businessman as a boss, and as long as that's the case the fight will never happen.

I'm reminded of the above lol. Believe it or not it is pretty difficult to take the high road in situations where the tables turn.

Floyd is a businessman out to make as much money as he can, he's the #1 star in the sport, has better numbers than Pacquiao, and hasn't been violently KO'd a couple fights ago.

HBO is running a business, they aren't going to shower losers with huge piles of cash. Besides, Once Arum, the IRS and Manny's entourage get there cut he'll be left with little more than cab fare.

They can't laugh at stuff like this because every act by Floyd has an underlying meaning that has something to do with "ducking," beating women, or being an all around shady guy. Every sort of racial stereotype is used to describe him by those that oppose him, and used with a fervor so extreme there's no way they can laugh at anything, because anything he does is ostensibly a threat.

Its actually pretty sad to watch grown men abandon reason, critical thinking all in an effort to not just degrade Mayweather but define his every action on their terms with their prejudices. This is the nature of a mindless nut mollusk.....
Wouldn't a good businessman do everything possible to make the biggest money fight in the history of boxing?

Well put... I think that's the main problem.... From outdoor stadiums, to cuts not healing, to wanting to fight overseas, arum always got a excuse.

Still not hearing me? You need two parties negotiating in good faith in order to carve out an agreement. Arum does not deal in good faith, Arum deals in shrewd, cunning, and guile. I don't get why some people think its all on Floyd and question nothing else, I just don't get that ****** ****.....

Maybe unfair, but you would think in a negotiation Pacquiao would counter the offer with something, but he didn't. Instead he went on to fight Bradley, then Marquez, and we saw how that turned out. Now there's tax problems and somewhat disappointing PPV numbers with Rios. Maybe his decision to turn the offer down wasn't that wise.

Tell you what, look at the meme Mayweather tweeted. It's says in pictures what I'm trying to say...

I also like how they dismiss the random tests and $40M offer as a ploy by Mayweather to avoid the fight as if Pacquiao had no other choice but to say no.

If Mayweather's tweet was more supportive I'm sure they would accuse him of trying to be nice to Pacquiao so he wouldn't want to fight him.

Ok, you've seen fights at a venue. I'm sorry I didn't realize your credentials.

Since you went there, the best fighter of this generation doesn't make a rookie mistake and fall face first into a KO punch.

You should be less worried about the Mayweather meme than with the thousands showing YOUR HERO face down in lala land.

                      (1) no need to insult, I know you're still testy about Maidana teaching Broner Espanol
                      (2) you actually made a good point, that being Pacquiao has a boss (Arum)
                      (3) One of Mayweather's many excuses is that he doesn't want to ever work with Arum
                      (4) your reply only addressed that correct? Pacquiao has no control? So arum and Floyd do? We narrowed it down.
                      (5) arum would obviously want to be involved in the biggest PPV in boxing. There is no way he wants Pacquiao to go free agent and miss out on his cut.
                      (6) Floyd has motive(s) for not wanting the fight: his health, his "0" (a huge part of his marketability), losing his legacy in the eyes of fans
                      (7) Floyd must be stopping the fight from happening because Arum has nothing to gain from the Mega fight happening without him

Btw, $40mil= ****** offer, 40%=fair! gosh even 30% would've been negotiable. Floyd did that to avoid it
