I think "social media" is just fine, it reflects a changing world that is becoming more and more connected. I lament a simpler time as well, when people talked on the bus and weren't stoically engrossed in their devices. I accept and understand this but I also think we give up something of ourselves when we aren't social with each other in person, or interact directly as a community.
Today's generation is losing its ability to feel I think, we see each other plain and clear but do we feel? Are we forgetting what its like to visit a friend across town, or send a scented love letter, or deliberately find a person you want to talk to instead of sending a text?Comment

This is actually the problem - the are no balls in Floyd's camp.Comment

First of all, you ain't no Charles Xavier. No one can read the man's mind. You don't know for sure that he feels or felt that way. Just because you think Floyd is unbeatable doesn't mean he does. Shoot, Pacquiao had all the ingredients to trouble Floyd: volume fighter with power, fast hands and feet, endurance, chin, awkward angles, and on top of that he's a south paw.Simple, he does not believe Manny can win. If Arum thought Manny could win, he would have signed the fight in January of 2010 when 50/50 was on the table and 14 day cut off was available. They were never going to get better terms than that. Would you agree? If not, then what is your excuse on why Arum doesn't want to be a part of the biggest fight in boxing history? You will probably say because FMJ is scared or something dumb as hell. You can be a a$$ all day long, but the facts remain. Arum walked away from negotiations in January of 2010 to fight Joshua Clottey. Joshua Clottey!!!
(Btw, I think Floyd/PAC at that time was a close fight, favoring Floyd but as for now, Pacquiao's wars took a lot out of him)Comment

yeah it feels like we are more getting connected yet theres this feeling of something thats missing. more and more people are getting comfortable living alone too with a help of social media.I think "social media" is just fine, it reflects a changing world that is becoming more and more connected. i also try to understand both side's point of view. maybe we (im in late 20s) are just getting old, the one who criticize today's young generation?Comment

Imho, we have developed technology/social media without devising a ethic or moral framework that represents our current values. Right now its open season on touching, feeling, and in many ways loving. The Internet is just an amazing place filled with knowledge and wonder, but its also filled with ice.yeah it feels like we are more getting connected yet theres this feeling of something thats missing. more and more people are getting comfortable living alone too with a help of social media.

Maybe there are no sides bro, maybe there's us and a lot of misunderstanding?Comment
