I don't see anything wrong with Fanfara being his first fight of the year. That would set up massive showdown between him and Stevenson in the summer. Fanfara is sturdy enough and has earned a small payday. He was never going to be much but he's earned his shot to fight a top guy like Kovalev and it's a good stay busy fight for Kovalev because Fanfara won't go quietly.

Are we gonna keep seeing Sergey fight Bums? HBO has fell off. All they show is Stars fighting Bums. When are they gonna show a 50/50 fight and not thses over hyped lopsided BS?

The more times we get to see Kovalev in the ring the better for us fans...but the fight we want to see first is Kovalev vs Stevenson!!

Would really like to see a light heavy tournament. Problem is that you have two fighters with HBO and two with Showtime.

I am for Stevenson to KO Kovalev! If HBO buys Kovalev/Fonfara what a joke. Fonfara is a c level fighter if even that. They are tryining to make Kovalev into something he isn't by this level of opponents. The problem is HBO doesn't do business with GBP. Not vice versa and that is why they are trying to build up fighers, they are otherwise, NEVER would because their ego/pride got hurt when Mayweather left and all it does is hurt us boxing fans.
