I hope Showtime listens and not waste time on this non interesting fight. I've seen Khan's previous fights and I'm sure you did too and if your mind is in the right place there is no way Khan can give Floyd any challenge. Khan's career has been over long time ago because he does not have a good work ethic.

At the moment, the next opponent for Floyd Mayweather is undecided.

Slated for a May 3 return to the ring inside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Mayweather has stayed relatively mum on who he would prefer to meet, although his hints have revealed that he isn’t completely opposed to facing off with British star Amir Khan.

During a recent conversation with Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, he addressed the Mayweather-Khan rumors with myself and ******.com’s Lem Satterfield.

“You know, when Floyd fights it’s an event,” Schaefer stated. “And Floyd could frankly fight Joe Schmoe and it could still be an event because of his personality, his reach, his everything. A Floyd event is must-see TV; it’s a must-see event.”

They are going to use every trick in the book in an attempt to make the fight seem like a good idea or to try to trick the public into thinking that's the fight we want to see. If the fight gets done, it will be up to the public to prove to them that they can't sell us whatever they want and that they can't sell us a Mayweather fight no matter who he's fighting. Even if the card ends up being staked, it will be better to just stream it online.

No one mentions Lara because this is Floyd Mayweather were talking about. Lara is just peaking, everybody knows Floyd doesn't fight anyone at there best, or a legitimate threat for that matter.

Thats my entire point. I see pac hacks claim floyd should fight this behemoth or the othet while they cheer when pac fights another jr ww with no defense. If pac is to be viewed as an elite fighter he should fight some realistic competition. And who is a random poster? I love the sport of boxing and love many styles of boxing. Some seem to go for the toe to toe match. Hey some people like fine dining and some love all you can eat buffet. Why shouldn't both fighters be held to a high standard? One guy only fights in house fights and "gimme" bouts designed to make him look good. And the other fights multiple styles and legit opposition. Real fans want to see real fights. Disagree?
