Agree, Molina will not sell PPV. But is Angulo any better to sell? Yes, I get it, Angulo has a people pleasing style, but he won't sell much either. Either way, if this stays on PPV it will fail miserably

angulo is known among the mexicans which is the main market for canelo, trust me it means at least twice the ppvs compared to molina and lara...

That's one way to look at it . But in deserving I personally meant in exposure to the masses and the money that would come along with fighting canelo. Since they're avoided by those higher ranking guys u mentioned. If canelo wants to still be considered elite , will he be beating a guy who just lost ? Don't think so

so lara is looking for a money and exposure? guess what canelo is after the same and lara brings none... nothing wrong by going after the money when you dont have mandatory, and this applies for both lara and canelo...

And two guys coming off a loss fight in the main event of a ppv. Atleast the other way there is two title fights. Has ever in history to losers ever faced each other in a ppv main event ?

canelo can do that, and he by himself will have higher numbers than lara-molina, se people has to deal with it...

This is the state of boxing today, the champ isn't really given the respect he deserves and Is put on standby while the more marketable boxer decides who he wants. I like Canelo and I understand boxing's a business, but if you have the opportunity to fight for a title I say go for it. Isn't that what every boxer dreams of as a kid?

the only real title here is the one that molina has, and thats the reason he is on the mix right now, but anyways canelo has no obligation with anybody right now even the champion, he is coming off a loss and holds no title so he can go for the most lucrative fight if thats what he wants... i still remember after he fought trout, many casuals in mexico were saying that he beat and unknown sack of potatoes... you still wont get recognition if the name is not big enough...

Angulo might even beat down Canelo, he looked like a tank in the Lara fight. Canelo might lose his next fight no matter who he picks lol

This is kind of complicated. They should make Alvarez fight Angelo because will continue to duck Lara. And have Lara and Molina rematch. Then the winners fight each other next.

I get that Lara had a draw with Molina, but that was years ago. Lara Is coming of two huge victories Over Angulo and Trout, so he's the most deserving guy. I say GBP knows both Molina and Lara Beat Canelo, so by making them face each other, Canelo would only have to face the winner and not both of them.

This is 100 % right. Molina really defeated Lara but the judges generously scored the fight a draw (although the karma was that later Lara was deprived of a victory against Williams). And again Molina was robbed when facing Kirkland as all of the sudden someone brought to the referee's attention that one of Molina's helpers got his feet in the ring thinking wrongly that the round had ended. And it is also true that Kirkland had an easier win against Angulo than Lara did. Lara had to go through very hard punishment and getting up twice from the canvas to get the victory while Kirkland was able to dispatch Angulo faster (although Kirkland was also dropped at the very beginning of the fight).
