WBA president swears Golovkin not upgraded, Murray/Fletcher not for regular title

So, right now we all think Golovkin got upgraded to super, Murray and and Fletcher will fight for the "vacant regular title" and Chudinov won a interim title this weekend.

Unbeaten prospect Dmitry Chudinov (12-0-2, 8KOs) is ready to take the next step in his pro career. On Saturday night in Moscow, he picked up the WBA's interim-m

Monte Carlo (December 18, 2013) - A sensational middleweight title clash between two-time former world title challenger Martin Murray of the United Kingdom and

ALso other articles saying Golovkin got upgraded to super.

Not Fat Dan tweeted to the WBA president and he responded with this.

I don't know how fat Dan became so famous and popular, he's terrible at what he does. Biased & unprofessional two of the most important things NOT to be when being a reporter/writer.

          Because he's on ESPN?
          Because he's fat?
Because......I really don't see him that much.
Couple of the people I look for info are. Steve Kim hates Rigo and some others, Elie... you know what he's about.... can't think of any more off the top... I want to say Ernest, but that's just when Garcia's gym is up, but I think he's just an Everlast rep, not a reporter.

WBA is despiecable. Look at them denying it now... Murray camp/Fletcher camp think they're fighting for the regular, Chudinov think he's the interim and Golovkin's camp thinks they're the Super.

Look at this break down of communication .... WBA don't know how to take charge or are that incompetent

There was talk of scrapping the Super titles, but the meeting that was supposed to happen regarding this was either not held, or the results of this not made public...at least to non-WBA officials

As we know with the WBA rules, the WBA can sanction any title at any time....don't be surprised to see this 3 WBA title arrangement in full effect within a couple of weeks (or whenever the closest fight is).

I guess we can look forward to the introduction of interim Super titles...

Sadly I think he is telling the truth. Unlike Sulaiman and the WBC, Mendoza isn't as methodical, and sly and I actually think he doesn't have control of half of what happens within the WBA.. the championship committee seems to be pretty influential

The regular title was supposed to be a very infrequent and short lived thing, it was claimed to be suggested by the great Lennox Lewis to help with mandatories for unified champions....as the use of unified mandatories fell out of favour as relations between WBA/WBC/IBF deteriorated over time.

But its more than clear that they have abused it for the sake of money (sanction fees). After all, if WBA make it easier for promoters to get fighters a 'world title'...they will always prefer to take the WBA route for their fighters.

It's sickening, and like I say before..expect interim Super titles.
