Wilder vs Fury: Who Wins?

I'm leaning towards Wilder for power reasons only. Fury is by far the better boxer and probably also has a better chin. There's something fishy about a big one-punch KO heavyweight having to fight 30 times before even fighting someone in the top 30. Especially considering today's climate and the fact that he's backed by the biggest promoter in the world.

Leaning towards Wilder, but wouldn't be surprised if he ended up on his back in the first round either.

Fury has faced WAY better competition. He easily defeated Chisora in his 15th fight. Wilder has had 30 fights and hasn't faced anyone even half as good as Chisora.

I think Fury schools him.

I don't think he easily defeated chisora...not to mention that was the worst (and maybe the heaviest) I've seen chisora...ever

on topic: fury uses his size and weight to wear down smaller fighters with low punch output...wilder is not a smaller fighter. if fury manages to survive the first 5 rounds he has a chance of stopping wilder late. I doubt he will though so I picked wilder by KO...too busy, too fast, strong

When a power puncher gets beaten, is it not fair to say it's usually because the other guy can take his power?

We don't what Wilder is made of. The only thing we know is that he has a horrific right hand , a weak chin, a weak defence and some good hand speed.

Fury has an amazing footwork, is a good inside fighter and has some nice Combos.

At the Moment, I would definitely say Fury. I am more than sure that Fury can avoid Wilder's straight right hand if he stays focused

An untested guy with a big punch who looks great against limited opposition getting beaten by a guy who can take a shot and box.

Wilder vs Thompson would also be a good matchup actually

Assuming he connected on him several times with hard shots. You can be a power puncher with good defense.

My bet is that if Fury passes through the first 2-3 rounds without getting knocked down, which I believe he will, Wilder will be in some really deep water.

Fury is more experience and he's superior in terms of technique ( Wilder can just throw a better straight right hand) , ring intelligence and defence. Wilder has got more raw power and is quicker.

Thompson will School Wilder in my opinion. Thompson was dominating Kubrat Pulev in the first 2-3 rounds until he totally gassed out thanks to his genius idea of showing up at 119 kg ( totally crazy!!).

Actually , I believe that a 113kg Thompson would have been by far more competitive against Pulev.
