I have noticed a lot of successful Olympians tend to be the guys who are protected...Probably because "Olympic gold/silver medalist" looks pretty sweet on the promotion bills etc so management teams want to build them up by moving them along slowly. This doesn't happen to all of them though, and not just Olympians either, look at Broner, fought a load of guys he looked good against but was thoroughly beaten in one of his major steps up. Hell even Tyson fought a lot of what people saw as soft touches at first...

I know this isn't always the case because a fighters career should be progressive, just seems to be that Olympians in particular are 'looked after' quite a bit
