This is my problem with the fight. IMO khan wouldn't hold the belt for very long infact, he would probably lose it the next outing. I enjoy watching khan fight cause they are always exciting whether he's getting kablamed(my main reason) or he is tagging you up with his blistering speed. But say mayweather takes an "L". Wouldn't it be better to fight and lose to someone who will go on to be a great champ?
For the record I don't see khan winning but there is always that chance.

He wouldn't need the belt if he just beat Mayweather. Floyd would have a rematch clause anyway.

People remember Buster Douglas and he had a worse career than Khan, it would be a huge win and a huge upset, if that was all he did the rest of his career he would still have that moment.

It would be nice if he actually did something with it but an upset like that to that degree would stand by itself. The joy that it would bring to so many people who have been craving it would make the event very special to that group, it would make the Broner stuff look like small potatoes really.
