Since i fought in the ameteurs back then, I have followed roy ever since he blasted people at the OL, it truly breaks my hart everytime this ones out of this world talent steps inside the ring.

In his prime he was the best fighter I have ever seen, nobody makes Prime Toney look like a damm ******, or hammer prime clinton woods as if he was a damm heavybag.
Its not as much who he beat, its have he beat them.

Anyway that Jones is LOOOOoong gone now, he is like Ali, he loves fighting to much, and as the say, its what you love that destroys you

Especially if what you love is getting punched in the head.

Option B, Roy moves up to HW to reclaim the WBA title he won from John Ruiz.

April 1, 2014: Wladimir Klitschko vs. Roy Jones Jr. "Redemption" Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets go on sale Christmas Day!

Roy would probably accept if Wladimir was classless enough to propose that fight.

prime Roy seems like another lifetime ago
crazy that it's been almost 10 yrs since the Tarver/Johnson debacles
would love to see Roy magically rejuvenated and clean up 175
wish he'd just get out already so he can get his HOF induction

Roy's body is set for CW now. He pretty much weighed the same as he did for Ruiz his last fight and come fight night was 200lbs. Except this time his conditioning was not good as for the Ruiz fight. There's no healthy way for him to get back down to 175 we all saw the damage that was done first time when he tried to do it with Tarver.

If he going to continue to fight he needs to get back with that trainer Tom from PA because he was showing Jones how to adapt with his older age style but it seems like Roy cut him off and is back to trying fight like he is young again but now with his legs looking slow motion.

Jones vs Kovalev would be a great fight, with back and forth action for 12 rounds, I think roy can do it!
What did jones ever do to you?
