Showtime and GBP put on much better fights this year then HBO and TopRank. HBO is getting their butts kicked so bad, they are trying to build fighters and create "monsters" by having them fight bums.

We need more boxing segments and boxing coverage on CBS, NBC, and most of all ESPN.
For sure! Getting to know the fighter add's intrigue to every matchup you watch of them as you develop a sort of emotional attachment to the fighter after learning more about them and deciding wether you want to see them succeed or get their face punched in.

I hear that. I want to see how it all unfolds. The year was a good one for them but can they keep the momentum up?

Final thoughts: 2013 Best year of boxing I can remember in recent memory. Surprises and upsets, new hero's surfacing, supposed king pins being taken down, record breaking night, the long overdue stirring of the pot in the Heavyweight division... it's been "a hell of a" year. I guess i'm trying to be Floyd Mayweather too now

Sorry, what I meant was that we'd rather see FIGHTS on CBS, rather than shows on CBS talking about fights. Not that we don't want to see segments talking about fights.

Showtime has come a long way. From having only one solid fight on the first saturday of the month. Now got Mayweather fighting on their network and stack cards all month.

What other possible fights can get that much hype again, minus the one fight that will never happen??

Showtime better get Canelo on track this year, he's easily the second most marketable fighter they have under contract.
