Undefeated WBC Youth Intercontinental super bantamweight champion Rey Vargas (18-0, 15KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over tough Filipino Ernie "The Rock" S�nchez (14-5, 4KOs) at the Gimnasio Rodrigo M. Quevedo in Chihuahua, Mexico. Sanchez has never been stopped and his chin lived up to it's billing as he was able to take any and all of the hard punches that were coming from Vargas. The young Mexican, trainer by veteran coach Nacho Beristain, tried to break Sanchez down with hard work to the body but the Filipino was very durable.
