This is sad but it is his life and he knows the risks. He just can't let go. Hope he gets what he wants and gets out but it won't happen.

Go out with diginty than kicked out.

I think it will hurt his statues in boxing history.

If he have something to prove he will become a hero but if he goes out empty handed then I fell sorry for him

This is crazy. That old fool must hang em up, and be quick about it. A warrior to the last i guess. A damn shame.

I guess the old saying ''those who live by the sword die by the sword'', might actually come true in this case, literally. i really hope not though.

holyfield lost to jokes like byrd and ruiz, that shouldve been enough to convince himself to retire.

                chris byrd is no joke.

if holyfield wants to keep fighting, maybe we should let him. it is his legacy, his life. i wish him the best, but i hope he gets some sense and retire soon, before he gets really hurt.

Even though I think he should have retired after he beat Ruiz, its his life and no one should tell him what to do. Like he said, "this is my job, and when I stop working I stop making money." Eventually he'lll get the message but even if he doesn't, who cares! Everybody knows the real Holyfield, and everyone knows that he hasn't been The Real Deal for a long time. Is it sad, YES, but I wouldn't want someone to tell me what to do with my life.
