Boxing pulls 16 million viewers

Making the three fights the 5th, 6th and 7th most watched sports in Japan for the week behind figure skating. Boxing and figure skating were the only sports in the top ten. I'm not sure but are they still doing their New Year show? The triple header peaked with a rating point of 13 which represents a percentage of the population of Japan which is about 128 million or more.

BTW, rating points is not a percentage of the population. Is the percentage of households with televisions sets. You can't just get 13% of 128M.

In Japan TV ratings are out of population. Some countries work like that others don't.
