Floyd was the mastermind in carpark shooting. Floyd gave frozen turkey to the homeless even though he knew they had no place to cook. Threw his father outa his house and beat blue the mother of his children in front of them. He threatened to kill his own father and own children at some point. He was an ex-convict. He wants to clean the sport but failed his own tests on 3 occasions. Floyd showed only how much he wion but you know in ******** you lose more. There are many more but I already proved my point.

To be fair, there were alot of stans back then that was very vocal but you don't see them here defending Floyd anymore. Alot of them has finally given up on Floyd so they stopped posting, or they became FLoyd haters, or created new alts. You're really only left with a few stans that still defends Floyd, and it's not hard to know who these guys are because you see the same 3-5 stans on every Floyd-Pac threads. They will defend Floyd to the death, and there's no other logical reason why this is unless they're really part of TMT. Which probably makes perfect sense, since they keep focusing on FLoyd's PPV numbers and finances - which makes me think they really are getting a cut since they're really part of TMT in real life.

What Mayweather's Answer Should Be For His & Fans' Benefit

[Here's what I was writing for the thread, "Pacquiao challenges Mayweather anew - for CHARITY," before someone decided to make that thread disappear and get buried in this thread...with a poll of fight scenarios for a fight that isn't even signed.]

Allow me to indulge myself in a stab in the dark guess of how this latest news came about. It may be an idealistic delusion on my part, and I'm wrongly breaking my arm from patting myself on the back, but I'd like to think I could have had a hand in this latest development.

Does anyone know if someone from Manny's team or someone in Pacland with connections to Manny is monitoring this forum? Seems they could have lifted an idea from one of my posts.

Anyway, from the thread for "Mayweather's SA Visit Angers Boxing Stakeholders," Slip Stream posted the vid of the press conference at the Olympic House. I made the following comment:

LOL...Floyd just exposed himself here, and the audience was dumbfounded into dead silence at hearing Floyd's own twisted truth of his vision & value of a boxing legacy. They expected to hear something along the lines of him becoming a role model to younger SA boxers; or generating increased interest in boxing, and helping to provide or develop the facilities to practice the sport; or instilling ideals, goals and values that boxing can provide the young in character development...anything along those lines. But, noooooOOOOOOOoooo...boxing legacy means being a "smart businessman." It's all about the money. "LEGACY DON'T PAY BILLS" in Floyd's own words.

I'm sure if East London provided a similar gala dinner where he could auction off more of his memorabilia/regalia, he would have been there early with bells on his toes. But no, he saw East London as a charity case that wanted him to fund a new gymnasium out of his own pocket, plus a possible audience of 20,000 asking why he won't fight Pacquiao, so he said, "**** them, I'm going on safari." What a classy guy.

I give the South Africans props for not being cowed into silence, boldly asking the questions they were instructed not to. And props to Floyd for going ahead and answering instead of being a **** about it. At least his answers about not fighting Manny were consistent and didn't change. You could sense the skepticism by the audience about his answers. They're not all Floydiots in SA.

When I read the article that got this thread rolling, my thoughts were to this post and to the idea of Floyd fulfilling his obligatory reparation to those he mistreated in East London as an insignificant "charity case." Could this have reached Manny somehow?

I am a South African from Soweto, the ****** in Johannesburg. East Londoners are not the only South Africans disappointed after weeks of excitement over the arrival of Mayweather. We are huge Mayweather fans here and the kids idolize him, they get up and walk for miles at 3am (due to time zone difference) to the nearest boxing gym to watch his fights (which they display on a big screen, since many don't have TV at home). I myself have been religiously following his activity in SA. Was at the airport where thousands of people came to see him arrive. In his time here on this tour labelled "Reawakening the Giant: The Goodwill Tour" he has done about 5 minutes of goodwill and reawakening boxing in SA. After arriving 3 hours late at the boxing gym in Soweto where young boxers were warming up expecting a coaching clinic, he spoke for 5 minutes and left to go shopping at the Gucci store back in the city (I'm pretty sure there's much better Gucci stores in America that he could have gone to when he got back, but anyway...). Then he went to the nightclub and the next day went on Safari.

Did I mention that the people of East London hand made a gown for him to wear to the ring for one of his fights as a gift? I doubt he cares much.

We weren't even asking for money or a handout, just his influence alone is enough to help lift what used to be a great sport here, producing the likes of Corrie Sanders (one of the few men to beat Wladimir Klitschko), Phillip Ndou who fought Mayweather previously and other champions in other weight classes.

Anyway, I still think he's a great fighter and there's still plenty of loyal fans here but for a lot of us our eyes have been opened. I guess since we don't put money in his pocket we don't really matter...at least the people of Soweto got to see what a Bentley and a Rolls Royce looks like in real life from his motorcade.

So, when you put two and two together, an obvious conclusion is that Floyd EPICally ****ed up, making a poor accounting of himself and showing his disgraceful attitude for & disrespect to his brothers & sisters in the "Motherland," ignoring a planned stop as an insignificant charity case and instead going on safari.

At the press conference he claimed, "Floyd Mayweather doesn't just represent the red, white and blue, you know, Floyd Mayweather represents the world." Hmmm, I don't know about that. I'm sure the world now has different ideas on who should, or more specifically who should NOT be the face of boxing. But it's not too late for Floyd to change that image. His nemesis Manny Pacquiao has opened a door and shown him the way. The Lord works in mysterious ways...when one door closes another opens up.

How does he make reparation for his misdeeds and misadventures in SA and correctly reestablish and fulfill the LEGACY that the SA people hoped he would leave after his visit?

FLOYD DESIGNATES SOUTH AFRICA AS HIS CHARITABLE BENEFICIARY!!! (Or at least one of many of the primary benefactors of his generosity.) Starting especially with East London. He can build them their gymnasium since he flaked out & stood them up just to go on Safari. That would be a start in making reparations for the ultimate disrespect he showed them.

That's right, Floyd...DO IT FOR THE MOTHERLAND! Fulfill the promise & LEGACY that the people hoped you'd leave them. They want real boxers, not the "smartest" Las Vegas businessman/boxer. If you were paying any attention, you would have heard sports minister Fikile Mbalula saying "Reawakening the Giant" (the tour's label) was to revive boxing..."the sport of the poorest of the poor in our country." Repeat: boxers come from the poorest of the poor. So don't try to impress them with your unattainable "level" of bling-flashing and highfalutin lifestyle. Approach the game with them with the humility you once had when you were also poor like them. They would love you more for that.

I have always felt that Floyd's hypocrisy, greed, obsession with "MONEY, POWER & RESPECT" (words he wears as part of his TMT gear) all would backfire on him in the worst karmic way. KARMA IS A B1TCH. There's no denying he has all the money and power at the top of the game, but has he really earned respect? Money and power can't earn true respect.

In the press conference, besides telling SA press why he's not fighting Manny (even when he wasn't asked that question...LOL), he repeatedly harped on about money saying, "I'm keeping 100 percent of the money," & "I kept all the money," & "Why would I go anywhere and split any money?" Well, it looks like Manny turned the tables and made sure that IF he finally has the balls to meet him in the ring, he also doesn't get to "Keep all the money." Ain't karma a b1tch! Manny just slammed the door shut on keeping the money from his record breaking payday! Manny done hit Money where it hurts most, in the MONEY, just violently Bruce Lee-kicking that fat a$$ wallet out of his hands and into the hands of charities.

But there are bright spots to this. Floyd can still brag once again about breaking "his" PPV record. He just doesn't get to pad his wallet with the profits...unless he wants to negotiate with Manny for them to both keep a little bit for "lunch money" before the charitable contributions are disbursed. Plus he changes the image SA has of him...from being a MONEY grubbing selfish diva to being a more generous, charitable, respectable soul. RESPECT is more important than the MONEY & POWER.

What Mayweather's Answer Should Be For His & Fans' Benefit

At the SA press conference, when asked, "Can we possibly see you fight here in SA?" Floyd replied, "It's a dream of mine...hopefully we can make it happen if it's possible."

If it's possible?!?! With that kind of waffling you know that was BS. SA can kiss their dream goodbye. "If it's possible" translates to "if there's enough money in it." He's "my own boss" and he could make it happen if he wanted to, if there's enough desire to fulfill his "dream" of being like Ali. His true answer is more believable from his FloydHype.com interview with his boy Ben Thompson when he said, "The MGM Grand is the mecca of boxing. I'm not going nowhere and fighting where everything closes at 2 AM."

The Lord works in mysterious ways...one door closes, another one opens. Manny has shown Floyd the door to not only fulfilling his "dream" but to grant the South Africans their most fervent wish to see him fight. Manny said "anytime, anywhere," and you know you can trust him more than when Floyd said the same thing before adding "except for his promoter." He would be fighting Manny in the Motherland, the beneficiary of his philanthropy. It's a win-win situation for Floyd to fight on Manny's terms. It would be bigger than the Rumble In The Jungle.

Another benefit for Floyd meeting Manny's terms is that it would finally get that monkey (no racist pun intended) off his back. It would settle his mind and he can be at peace with himself. He wouldn't have to retire under the constant torture of everyone questioning why Manny was missing from his resume.

You can see he's not a man at peace with himself. He's constantly rattled & all shook up and gets defensive whenever the name Manny Pacquiao is brought up. There's video evidence of that all over the internet. The most recent example was the Motherland press briefing at the Olympic House.

The first question coming from the gallery was: "Floyd, you have two fights in two years, 6 fights in a short time wherein you'll earn 300 million dollars...at the end of this contract can we expect to hear Floyd hanging up his gloves, secondly and lastly, you're not called "Money" for nothing. You came here, how much does this did this I mean how much did you earn from coming here?"

[I'm not sure if he was questioning if Floyd had to be paid to come to SA, or if it was part of the inquiry of whether tax payer money was used (which is one of their political issues or scandals with the sports ministry) to bring him there, or a combination of both.]

Anyway, Floyd's answer was: "Well you know a lot of times people want to you know of course you know always want to you know I'm Floyd Mayweather I'm never shy on I don't never like to duck or dodge any question you know. As far as the Manny Pacquiao fight umm you know we can get right down to the nitty gritty. Now, did he answer the journalist's question or not? Obviously he completely missed both parts of the question and answered something else. He gave an answer to what he thought he heard, which was "Manny" instead of "Money." So you know that Manny's name just haunts his mind. And it must have been especially torturous for him being in SA where, with their accent, the pronunciation of his moniker MONEY sounds like MANNY. I can see why he ditched East London to go on safari. I can imagine what it would have been like for him to have a stadium of 20,000 people shouting out his name...LOL That's one tortured soul not at peace with himself.

Well, Manny has opened the door for Floyd to purge his mind of his inner demons and find peace. So much can be achieved by fighting on Manny's final terms. They can be achieved all in one fell swoop.

1. Provide the fight the whole world, even his Motherland, wants to see. This is what "Doing it for the fans" truly means. Like Manny says, "Let's make the boxing fans happy."

2. Floyd can once again break the PPV record. Right now there's no one else that he can fight that would beat the PPV revenue record he recently set with Canelo Alvarez. Everyone knows this.

3. He would be making reparations for the disrespect he showed his brothers and sisters in the Motherland. They would be his philanthropic beneficiary.

4. He will fulfill the boxing legacy that his SA hosts had originally hoped he would leave behind. And he can continue working with them on that "Reawakening The Giant" tour that he left shortchanged.

5. He would make come true his & SA's hope for making the "Rumble In The Jungle II" as the SA sports minister called it. Manny is game..."anytime, anywhere."

6. He will be remembered and loved more for his philanthropy and bravery than he would be for just being the "smartest" boxer ever.

7. His legacy (the true legacy, not just the "smartest" legacy) will be ensured and unquestioned. No one can pester him about Manny missing from his resume. If he retires without this fight, it will haunt him for the rest of his days.

8. He earns true RESPECT, not the superficial kind that just comes from the worship of his Money and Power, but the kind that honors the content of his character from doing all of the above.

9. He becomes part of something so unimaginably historic and mind-bogglingly unprecedented...the turning of what is expected to be a record breaking fight into a philanthropic benefit for worldwide fans and charitable organizations. Just think how such a selfless action would "pay it forward" to influencing more athletes in other sports into contributing their proceeds from one contest. It could grow geometrically into a worldwide philanthropic/humanitarian phenomenon. And these two boxers would be honored as the pioneers.

10. And finally, Floyd would find himself at peace for having shed all his inner demons. His mind will no longer be haunted by the specter of "Money"/Manny, he will no longer have to continue assuming the persona of the bad guy, and he will find true contentment, basking in the love & respect of fans he made happy, instead of just from those superficial fans who just respect him for his money, power and bling bling.

This is a win-win situation all around for Floyd. Even if he happens to lose the fight, he still wins by gaining more RESPECT from fans...for showing the heart of a true champion who faced the best available competition. ATG's all have losses on their records, and the L's don't mean nuthin'.
