All the haters on this site claim they never buy a Mayweather PPV. They all claim they watch his fights on a free stream. If that is true, they are not paying to see him fight and he doesn't owe them a damn thing.

I pay to see him fight. I don't give a damn when he makes the announcement.

I use to pay.... but I'm not paying $100 for this ppv... I might buy tickets tho...

He is a douche because he is miffed that everyone is spoiling his big moment about announcing the fight...He is a fighter, a entertainer and we are boxing fans...We expect to be treated with respect as people that pay to make him "Money"...

How do you know that he is miffed because his big moment is being spoiled? That is a rumor that a bunch of guys standing around the coffee pot came up with and you act as if it is gospel. I think people want the fight announced to make it official. All the paperwork is probably done but we need to get this weight off our shoulder.

Regardless of who or what's actually holding up the announcement, the principal financial parties involved must be going INSANE right now that every day is another day lost from a promotional standpoint. I realize a lot of people feel the fight "sells itself", but when you consider the guaranteed payouts on the table for this one, you would think there are some very agitated people right now, moreso than just the hardcore boxing fan, that want to get the ball rolling on that front sooner than later.
