Floyd moves when he wants to move so it wouldn't surprise me if he waited to his birthday to announce it. If it's truly signed off on by all parties I can care less when the announcement is made.

The issue that has caused the final delay during the negotiation was the re-match clause. It essentially turned what was a 2-dimensional problem into a 3-dimensional one due to the fact that negotiating two fights, instead of just one, complicates negotiations exponentially. In other words, two fights wouldn't double the complexity. It would complicate it 10 fold.

In the end, the re-match clause was taken out. If a re-match is needed, then the parties would just start at zero when such a possibility becomes real.
