    It appears De La Hoya is in Arum's ear. I think the biggest stumbling block that remains, as crazy as it sounds, is Arum's promise to Oscar that he will move Mayweather-Pacquiao off the May 2 date so Oscar can keep his promise to Canelo.

          While his son Erik Morales is vague about predicting a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight, the father of Erik Morales ***8211; Jose Morales ***8211; was far more direct.

          ***8220;I believe Manny Pacquiao will win the fight by the eighth round,***8221; says Jose Morales, who taught his son Erik how to box at the age of five and was a former amateur boxer himself.

          When asked why he believes Pacquiao will conquer Mayweather, Jose Morales explained, ***8220;He***8217;s more aggressive. He***8217;s very aggressive. He***8217;s very sharp, throws many accurate punches and keeps the pressure on his opponents. That***8217;s why he will win.***8221;

          I then ask if Mayweather can handle what Pacquiao will assault him with?

          ***8220;No, he can***8217;t,***8221; answered Jose Morales. ***8220;He show it with Jose Luis Castillo. He can***8217;t handle that aggression. Mayweather is the kind of boxer where it is very dangerous for him ***8211; the aggressive boxing ***8211; because he can***8217;t handle it.***8221;

          Next, I ask if he thinks Mayweather is scared to sign the contract to box Manny Pacquiao for an estimated $120,000,000?

          ***8220;The punch of Manny Pacquiao can kill him very easily,***8221; replies Morales, with no hesitation or doubt in his voice. ***8220;It can put him down very easily. So he cannot handle that.***8221;

          I wonder if Jose Morales thinks Manny Pacquiao is superior to the version of Jose Luis Castillo that boxed Mayweather and gave him major trouble in their first fight especially?

          ***8220;Yes, much more,***8221; said Morales. ***8220;He***8217;s very aggressive. Very aggressive.***8221;

            cuz everytime theres a thread on something "negative" about floyd with FACTS and well thought out opinions, like the thread of his assistant writing that book saying that the only reason he came back to boxing after his retirement was cuz he was almost broke, those floyd fans are ABSENT.

              The interview happened on 02/03/15, and a few says later, several sport journalists said it's the networks that's holding up the fight and they even called out Arum.

                      In regards to Stephen A.'s interview with Dan Rafael today, Dan said it best with "It's like Groundhog day". The idea that both sides have held out for so long to complete this fight into happening keeps both sides very critical and unrealistic over negotiations. The irony and ******ity of the whole thing is that there wouldn't be a better time to sell a 36 year-old Manny Pacquiao fight. With Pac coming off such a dominating performance against Algieri (for the casuals) and regaining his title from top Welterweight Tim Bradley (who had previously one a controversial with him and just beat JMM), this would be the ideal time to sell this fight. But Floyd and I am assuming his team are very naïve to think Floyd's power in boxing won't diminish after 2015 without Manny P. We at least know Top Rank and Manny are the driving force for this fight.
