Floyd Mayweather Jr vs. Manny Pacquiao Master Discussion Thread

Right. Everyone from Pacquiao's side is saying the deal and is hinging on Mayweather's approval. Mayweather says negotiations are still on going- as they are with HBO/SHO still having to come to an agreement.
The part about Pacquiao not being his own boss has nothing to do with the negotiations. He's just making the point that Arum runs things as far as Pacquiao is concerned and whether Pac gives his approval or not is moot because its ultimately up to Arum which is once again true.Comment

He contradicts himself in the interview though. He says everything everyone says is false. He says that right after DJ Whoo kid brings up the May 2nd date. Then later in the interview he says he hopes the fight happens on May 2ndRight. Everyone from Pacquiao's side is saying the deal and is hinging on Mayweather's approval. Who knows, I'll try listening to the rest of the interview but way too much sucking up by the hosts. According to Koncz there is a gag order for no one to say anything publicly about the details and he is hesitant himself in a couple interviews to confirm the dates, venues, etc.
I really just want this fight to happen. People are too quick to call the fight off and put the blame all on Mayweather, and yes he's said somethings for me to fell uneasy, but he says they're still trying and the networks are still talking so I'm still holding out some hope.Comment
