Pacquiao is still beating up everyone that he fights. He was on his way to stopping Marquez until he got caught. He beat up Bradley (again).

I'm still as interested in this fight as ever. Maybe more, because what I felt like wasn't a realistic shot a few years ago, I think may be possible now.

The thing that hasn't changed, is that Floyd is smarter than Manny in the ring. He can make the adjustments that Manny can't. I think that's what really sets him apart.
    did i say they haven't?

and this "floyd gets hit WAY more these days" this is just because of maidana, floyd has always struggled vs pressure fighters and gotten hit a good amount when he fights, he didn't get hit anymore vs maidana than he got hit vs castillo, augustus, corley, cotto, judah

floyd has slowed down alot too, although he has adapted well to a more defensive style, which again, favors him even more now in a fight against a slower, less powerful, lazier pacquiao who also happens to be smaller

I think Roach has a strategy for Floyd, but I am not sure if Manny can pull it off.

My head says Floyd, my heart will always be with Manny.

I just want to see a close, competitive fight without all Floyd's usual BS.

But that is very unlikely in reality...

Roach did not have a strategy for Marquez, what makes you think Roach has a strategy for Floyd? Trainers are waaayy over rated these days. Getting too much credit.

Manny wants this fight because he knows he can beat Floyd's style

Nobody need worry about Mayweather getting his credit because he aint going to win no-how. This is me realizing it is finally going to happen.
And RIP five years of petty internet wars.

Mayweather is slower and less powerful, too. He's always been miles ahead of Pacquiao defensively. So it appears we're at a stalemate.

Can't blame Floyd because Manny can't adjust.

who's blaming anyone over anything? why do you presist in making things up?

im simply saying pacquiao stands less of a chance now, then he did before

and deep down you agree, evident with that last line

Speaking of making stuff up. My last sentence has nothing to do with who I think will ultimately win.

Manny couldn't adjust then. Can't adjust now.

Manny wasn't as good defensively then, he isn't as good defensively now.

The advantages that Manny had then, he still has now (and vice versa). I believe that the difference now, is that he has a better chance at stopping Floyd, due to how much Floyd has slowed down.

I still think his chances are slim, but I believe they were closer to "none" before Floyd started to slow.
