Of course it is but its easy to fool some people into thinking Maidana is suddenly a much better fighter when you give him favourable opponents

Maidana is more skilled then Rios by a quarter mile. That's all I wanted to say.

He moves his head more, he feints, he goes to the body, and he sets up traps.

If Maidana and Khan were to rematch I'm 100% sure he knocks Khan out.
You are propagating a myth. He hasn't improved at all under Garcia - Maidana used A LOT of head movement, feints, body shots in the Khan fight just like against Broner, in fact he did it from the very first round.
Go watch that fight and you can clearly see he uses all those skills.

The effect Garcia had on Maidana was to return him to the same form as he was against Khan. Watch Maidana's fight against Khan, his fight against Corley - he uses all those skills you mentioned in both those fights, and even used the jab more than he did against Broner so there is a case to be made saying that Maidana wasn't even in quite as good form for Broner as he was for Khan, - it could be argued that Khan actually beat a better version of Maidana than Broner did.

rios is a better fighter than maidana

maidana wont have any chance outside of a ko punch vs floyd
rios can atleast work vs floyd, crazy stamina, decent defence, and his power is solid too

Maidana has greatly improved since fighting Khan but yeah, he basically stands no chance.

Maidana hasn't improved - it's just smoke and mirrors because Broner was overrated.

Exactly, Broner was just overrated going into that fight. He had already been beaten a few times before Maidana but got away with gift decisions. He did well to survive the full 12 rounds though and he showed great heart but his skills have been overrated for a while. He's a limited fighter at the moment but he does have potential to become much better under the right trainer, with the right discipline.

Anyway, Maidana is just back on form now, but he definitely hasn't "improved". He's just back to his prime level - which is the same level he was at when he faced Khan. The Alexander fight was sort of an illusion because Maidana wasn't really prepared for that fight - he was looking for a new trainer 3 weeks before the bout.

The thing is that people see one fight and then they say "He should fight Floyd next, ....."

Have we not seen this scenario time after time? When will people realize that Floyd has been beating those kind of hyped up fighters at WW since like forever!!! This is the exact same scenario that we saw with Ortiz, Guerrero and so on. When will people learn?

This was Broner's second fight at WW. If Paulie had decent power, Broner would have lost to Paulie EASILY!!!

Floyd will move, hold and counter more effectively than Broner. The only thing that I do agree is that Maidana has certain attributes that give fighters who use the shoulder roll trouble. Again, if Floyd moves, will Maidana still be as effective? Lot's of questions ...... the Broner fight answered just one!

Its not the same. Rios got outboxed by another punching bag before the pacquaio fight. At least khan and alexander are decent boxers. Alvarado looked like andre ward at times vs rios. Certified bum
