I'll give him a chance, he fought an immobile version of Mayweather (not saying a lot too)... if he brings his workrate even higher he might give Mayweather the trouble that Cotto did...

Maidana name is buzzing way more with the public than is Khans. Hope they dont fight Khan.

Maidana loss to Khan in 2010 has nothing to do with both guys current situation and status and boxing. Its about to be 2014. And one is on the rise and has a buzz, while the other is 2-2 in his last 4 fight with being knocked down and buzzed his last fight.

people know mayweather has 4 fights left right, are we really worried about whether a good guy gets a nice payday, or seeing someone that can actually test mayweather

Broner and mayweather are two completely different fighters. Broner is not even a poor man's mayweather. he fights nothing like him, mayweather can move around the ring and be effective broner can't

Maidana can test Mayweather. Stylistically he can create problems if he can close the distance and pin him in a corner. Huge if, obviously, but this is his biggest "potential" threat since Margarito.

I didn't think about that part but you're damn right. I can't wait to hear an interview from him after May vs Mai is announced. Im sure it'll be pure comedy.

He's earned it more than anyone else I'd day he's the most deserving. Two good wins over JSK and lopez, and the Beatdown of boxings next golden child broner who would you say deserves it more?

I know i actually got 2 to 1 odds on the Canelo fight, but that was because of the huge fan base canelo has here in mexico.

Lol easy money for me on that one.

Defeating Broner is one thing. Fighting Floyd is a whole different ballgame. I'd like to see Maidana try but in the end Floyd would win an easy decision. As usual in the end he wouldn't get any credit for the victory.
