    Future of boxing!! (I wish)

As it stands today boxing currently has 68 champions, yes you read it right 68! I for one believe that to have the most interesting fights we need to have the most deserving fighters, not belts. Now, what I mean by that is that I don't care if pacquiao is fighting for his 8th belt against Margarito(who wasn't really the champion) what I care about is seeing the best fighters put up against each other and NATURALLY if that scenario sets itself up then there's a ceremonious belt WON, NOT GIVEN!!

My proposition for this would be an international boxing League set up by the United States(to avoid most corruption and paper
Champs) ala UFC. In this scenario I have already arranged a barrage of fights that would undoubtedly show us who the true champions are! We would essentially eliminate purse bidding, network wars, fake champions and most importantly with a governing body,
    DUCKING!!

So in hopes of not blabbering on here's my wish list

•A governing body that demands respect and integrity in a sport much maligned by years of money hungry and scared individuals.

•Only 8 divisions with ONE champion per division

•A championship must be won at the full weight(no catch weights for championship matches)

•In an age of modern technology and social media there should be some form of fan integration when it comes to matchmaking(I would propose 1 fight a year where we as the fans decide who fights)

    •Competent judges!!!

And to kick things off this is my matchmaking wish list with new divisions!!

    Bantamweight (120)
    Leo Santa Cruz vs Rigendeaoux

    Featherweight (130)
    Gonzalez-Mares vs Garcia-gradovich

    Lightweight (140)
    Garcia-Gamboa vs Ruslan-Broner

    Welterweight (150)
    Pacman-Thurman vs Floyd-Bradley

    Middleweight (160)
    Sergio Martinez vs Genady Golovkin

    Cruiserweight (180)
    Hopkins-Kovalev vs Stevenson-Ward

    Light heavyweight (200)
    Yoan-Jones vs Huck-Lebedev

    Heavyweight (201+)
    Wladimir klitschko vs Deontay Wilder

I think you got a bit confused with LHW and crusierweight.

20 pound gap in between cruiser and light heavyweight. Damn imagine going back down in weight 20 pounds to compete. The fluctuation in weight would make someone super drained he'd get ko'd with one punch,

I like this idea less division would mean better match ups, but if there is only one title per division you could leave the weights the way they are.

come on man, you don't really believe that do you? The US is where most of the corruption happens in the sport..

You can pick and choose any first world country, and chances of corruption are pretty much the same.
