There you have it folks!! Interpret the statement and the two failed "Negotiations" however you want...i'm sure each side is going to spin this however suits them best. Some will use it to defend what's convenient to their argument others will use it as fodder to verify how what they've thought all along. I'm done. I respect both men but i'm going to save my opinion and avoid this topic til the end of time. I have my opinion but i'll keep that shhh to myself.

I speculate that it's more a case that he could see himself ending up where Pacquiao is now, under Arum. He didn't think he was getting his worth and wasn't going to get the fight he wanted. Couple that with some big disputes over percieved money owed and it adds up to more than hurt feelings. Would you fight under someone you don't think has your best interests at heart?

So are we gonna ignore that Arum used a cut and a new stadium as reasons for the fight not to happen on the May date? The money became an isue later after a personal call from Floyd to Pac. Pac wanted 50/50. Floyd offered him 40m, which even today would be Pac's career high purse. If Pac agreed to take 40m today, would you say he ducked Floyd back then?

Looking back, Floyd never wanted to fight Pac.

The reality is, neither side has shown a real effort to make the fight. And one side being scared of the other has nothing to do with it. Because according to your logic, Pac was scared to fight Floyd prior to Floyd's fight with Cotto. And Floyd was publically calling Pac out and Arum started talking about imaginary cuts, stadiums, and Floyd going to kail. But you, and those like you, act as if that didn't happen because it hurts your agenda.
Again, I didn't say that Arum didn't say that because he was saying the truth about the cut, .... "We need to find out what the doctor says"

              but later

Manny said "Im OK and READY" he said OK to May on his OFFICIAL WEBSITE!!! and in interviews!!!

Arum said "OK in May but Floyd will need to find his own guarantees"

Are you just pretending that you forgot all this? Go check it out for yourself!

Its sad imo
This is irrelevant my brother because Floyd would have always done something to not let the fight get made. He never wanted to do this fight. He's probably not scared but he never had any real intentions of making the fight. He just bull****ed for yrs.

Sorry bud. Read the article. Bob Arum specifically said the cut was the problem and was in no position to even entertain the idea of a fight in May.

That's it .... and now we need to believe that Floyd just now "became all sensitive about Arum"
