But what your simple is failing to either realize or acknowledge is that in the controversal interview with Brian Kenny prior to his fight with JMM. Floyd said he and Arum had a problem and a fight with Pac was gonna be hard to make because of it. As I've always stated, just because you choose to ignore something doesn't men it didn't happen. The reality is, neither side has shown a real effort to make the fight. And one side being scared of the other has nothing to do with it. Because according to your logic, Pac was scared to fight Floyd prior to Floyd's fight with Cotto. And Floyd was publically calling Pac out and Arum started talking about imaginary cuts, stadiums, and Floyd going to kail. But you, and those like you, act as if that didn't happen because it hurts your agenda.

Let's take a look at Mayweather's last several fights to see if they were what the people wanted. De La Hoya and Hatton- Sure, they were big-time then. Marquez- Although a great fighter, no, he's too small for Floyd. Mosely- So-so, he was viable, but near the end of his career. Ortiz- OK, he was thought of as a bada$$ then. Cotto- Ok he's another big name. Guerrero- So-so, he had just beaten Berto. Alvarez- Yes, he was undefeated and touted as the next big Mexican fighter. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?cat=boxer&human_id=352. So it may be safe to say that Floyd has given us a fair amount of fights that we wanted to see. But of all those fights, NONE of them carries the weight that a fight with Pacquiao would. Simply put, a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, even now near the end of both fighter's careers, and with Pac's 2 recent losses, would smash all PPV records before it! Why? Because both fighters are among the absolute highest-regarded in the sport; Mayweather for his expert tactical style, and Pacquiao for his great power and speed. Not getting to see these two greats fight would go down as one of the biggest disappointments in boxing. The "give the fans what the want" statement doesn't hold water with me. Seeing how Floyd has the biggest two events in boxing history. And if you look up the biggest non-heavyweight PPVs, he probably has 6-7 of the top 10. So obviously, he's giving the fans what they want or they wouldn't be wathing him at unheard of buy ratesm
Secondly, its not solely "up to Floyd" to make the Manny fight happen. Pac also needs to do what he has to do. It doesn't all fall in Floyd's lap, the way many would have you believe.Comment

accused pac of being dirty before negotiation even started. then went and made a racist rant video on manny talking about pac should cook eggrolls for floyd lol. but all this mean nothing but oh here comes the flomos saying floyd's feeling is hurt thats why he doesnt wanna do business with arum lmao!!So you are half way there then. Floyd is not eager.
You guys only have the initial negotiations but like every Floyd fan is saying about this latest excuse then they should apply that logic to Manny's response back then.
Floyd fans are saying today that "Floyd's feelings are hurt and Floyd is too sensitive to negotiate with Arum" BUT can't get that Floyd did much worse by trying to ruin Manny's reputation back then by ACCUSING Manny of taking PEDs with NO PROOF!Comment

Man, that is the problem. Some Floyd fans start those myths and the rest of you Floyd fans either never tried t learn the truth or "pretend" to be ignorant about it!Really? That is news to me because Manny had a dangerous cut that needed like 120 days to heal as per Arum plus he needed to build a statdium to host the event. Never ever heard that they were accepting the date. If anything the were saying that Pac wasn't ready until after the date that Floyd had to go to report to serve his jail time.
Yes, both Manny and Arum said AFTER those talks about cuts and stadiums that they were OK with May 2012.
The real issue was Floyd's new roadblock of I WANT ALL PPV MONEY since Manny said YES on Floyd's old roadblock.Comment

I agree but mayweather did bend on first negotiations...they initially didnt have a issue with random testing....then they made it a issue to sidestep the fight.....since that first negotiation both sides have been at fault...but people on here...not saying u...just try to blame it on one guy. Its sad imodude, im not in disagreement about what pac gets NOW. pac would be lucky to get 30% lol. the debate was about who called the shots and who had to bend in the first negotiations. and i stand firm that pac had the power & didnt NEED to bend to floyds demands at the time.
btw, i got my #s mixed, youre right about the 50/50 the first go round.Comment

So if those were fights people wanted to see. Why did so many people see them? Judging strictly from PPV sales. It seems like that's a question that we should be askng Manny.Let's take a look at Mayweather's last several fights to see if they were what the people wanted. Floyd Offered Pac 40mill not Arum, that was a way of cutting Arum out of the picture.I have never heard of a fighter offering 40 Mil but then saying I will never do business with Bob Arum etc... should have called his bluff.
In my mind, I have no doubt that Mayweather does not want to fight Pac. The first was bringing up a demand for extra testing suggesting he felt Pac was too good that he was on drugs.
May wants guys who set their punches or are easy to time. That gives him time to counter or move because he's so fast. With Pac he is fluid and can punch at many angles and is dangerous. May still wins, but the excuses of this and that just shows that May really doe not want it.Comment

How is it a new roadblock when Floyd said the exact same **** 4-5yrs ago?Man, that is the problem. Some Floyd fans start those myths and the rest of you Floyd fans either never tried t learn the truth or "pretend" to be ignorant about it!
