I don't know whether he's lying or not, but he has stated before that Arum owes him money. If someone were to borrow $1,000 from you and doesn't pay you back, would you still let that person borrow money from you afterwards? It's basically almost the same thing with Floyd and Arum, he won't let a guy who owes him money makes more money off of him.

He paid Arum 750,000 though. Who pays someone almost a mil if they owe them money?

I swear it feels as if both Mayweather and Arum are in on it together.Seems like they discovered that by fighting other opponents but always keeping the possibility of a May/Pac fight, the fans coming back and paying for their PPV's.

I mean Bob Arum's excuses are ridiculous, but so are Mayweathers. If they wanted the fight it would have been made, but they make just as much avoiding each other and keeping the fans in limo.

First off all, there is no reason for Mayweather to be scared of fighting Pacquiao, especially now. Secondly, Mayweather did try to work with him for years to make the fight happen but kept getting ****ed around. When Cotto leaves Top Rank that fight gets made right away.

This is why Golden Boy said they wont work with him anymore either. Last year they made a substantial offer to Arum to have Donaire fight Mares for $3 million. Arum outright refuted that the offer was ever made even though GBP had a contract written up and even posted it online for the public to see.

Don't get it twisted though. I'm not Mayweather excusing him by any strech. I cant say for sure that he was truly genuine when he was negotiating Arum in the past and this isnt just another excused handed down by his BOSS Al Haymon. All Im saying is Arum deserves as much blame as anyone that this fight isn't happening.

Why should Arum step aside so someone else can promote his fighters fight? Why not just say, "hey, you have your guy, I have mine, lets do 50/50?"

GBP is just as much to blame as Arum. They are trying to muscle a king in the business who has been around longer than they have.

Also.. isn't Mayweather the one that ALWAYS cries about Pacquiao using Mayweather's name to promote fights... WASN'T IT MAYWEATHER THAT SAID "PACQUIAO YOU'RE NEXT" when promoting the Ortiz fight?? If all along he knew he would never fight Pacquiao? At least when Pacquiao speaks it's the truth.. All Mayweather does is lie and BS all the way around.. So the reasons are 1. Bob Arum and 2. Show me the PPV where he does more than me... Uh show us AMIR KHAN'S PPV NUMBERS??? oh snap #2 excuse doesn't hold water either?? I kind of like it this way because when Mayweather leaves...
