Former four division world champion Erik "Terrible" Morales (52-9, 36KOs) is planning to return in the month of March and says a deal to face Jorge Paez Jr. (37-4-1, 22KOs) is almost wrapped up but no contracts have been signed. Morales, inactive since a KO loss to Danny Garcia in October 2012, wants to retire in 2014 with two fights.

If Morales still has a performance like his first fight against Danny Garcia left in the tank, then I think he beats Paez Jr. I think up until Danny Garcia knocked down Morales in the 11th round, that fight was up for grabs. In the end, I think I had Garcia winning by a point or two.

I might have to make a trip to watch the fight if Morales vs. Paez Jr. is in Tijuana. A Mexican legend vs. the son of a Mexcan legend.

I read a comment here before shane mosely fought mundine that he should just retire,but I said that as long as he's getting those hundred of thousands of dollars why retire? mosley hadn't been stopped,lost but really never took a beating,but morales has,he gave maidana a great fight but still took a lot of shots in that one,against pacquiao,against garica in both fights,someone like that should retire
